A 17-year-old is facing a felony charge after Corpus Christi police said he fired multiple shots into an occupied vehicle during a dispute in the Flour Bluff area, leading to a crash moments later. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but investigators continue gathering evidence as the case remains under review.

Police Respond to Shooting in Flour Bluff
The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 4:04 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, in the 700 block of Glenoak Drive.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located two individuals who had been involved in the incident. Despite the gunfire, authorities confirmed that neither person suffered any physical injuries.
Investigators immediately secured the area and began interviewing witnesses while collecting evidence to determine exactly what led to the shooting.

Police said the driver left the area at a high rate of speed before losing control and crashing near the traffic signal outside the Dollar General in the 9600 block of Waldron Road.
Emergency responders arrived at the crash scene shortly afterward. Despite the significant collision, authorities confirmed that no one was injured.
