Detectives specializing in robbery and homicide are investigating after discovering a deceased woman inside a residence on Thursday evening. This residence is situated on Hiawatha Street near Baldwin Boulevard.
Family members said they had not been in contact with their relative, a woman in her mid-30s, since Tuesday. Concerned about her well-being, the family visited her home on the 300 block of Hiawatha Street overnight, where they tragically found her lifeless.
Senior Officer Jennifer Collier stated that on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 11:28 p.m., Corpus Christi police were dispatched to the 300 block of Hiawatha Street in response to a report of a deceased individual.
Upon the officers’ arrival at the scene, they discovered the deceased female inside the residence.
