For 13 years, First Friday Artwalk has welcomed individuals to engage with the local art scene, a crucial step towards revitalizing the downtown area’s historical role as a center for commerce, business, and art. For Rodriguez, Artwalk is more than just a venue to sell her art; it’s a platform for connection, learning, and community engagement. “Seeing their faces, like when they get excited about what I’ve created. It fills me with so much joy, and I feel so validated that my art is inspiring and sparking joy with other people,” Rodriguez reflected.
